Here at Baba Olga’s Kitchen at Material Culture, we specialize in catering for larger groups. We custom-design each menu from our large repertoire of international culinary specialties, many of them brought back by our chef, Aliza Green, from her international travels. We are also happy to work from your own family recipes to give that personalized flavor to your next celebration.

It’s no wonder guests rave about the food, which is made with love and care, in-house and entirely from scratch, using top-quality ingredients that you’d be happy to use in your own kitchen. We take the time to ripen fruits and vegetables properly, to make our own spice blends, and to use all fresh herbs. We love to prepare beautiful vegetables and use our outdoor hardwood charcoal-grill often for meats, shellfish, poultry, and vegetables to impart that special flavor rare to find at a catered event.

Below is a selection of quick photos of our mezze (Middle Eastern dips and salads), hand-made hors d’oeuvres, cheese presentations, varied salads, international entrees, and seasonal sides from recent catered dinners and Supper Club events. Our homemade desserts range from light and crunchy cannoli, flourless almond-chocolate Torta Caprese, and rich ricotta cheesecake to seasonal fruit tarts, warm sticky toffee pudding, and luscious torta tres leches. We also included a few photos of recipes in progress to give you inspiration when creating your own menu. We hope to see you soon at Material Culture!
