Appraisal & Consultation with Robert Mann

In conjunction with Material Culture’s Saturday Symposium on Native American Textiles and the Sunday auction, Textile Arts of the Americas, renowned textile conservator Robert Mann will be available at Material Culture to assess auction values for Navajo and other North American weavings and to consult on restoration of similar textiles. The public is warmly invited to bring weavings for appraisal and evaluation.

Robert Mann began his career in 1978 as an apprentice textile and rug restorer before founding Robert Mann Rugs, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. His firm provides expert cleaning and restoration services for a wide range of handwoven textiles from the American Southwest, Asia, and the Near East.
